il laboratorio prende forma...

Dopo un po' di assenza torno per scrivere e questa volta di grandi novità!!!!:D

Finalmente ho un mio spazio dove creare ed esporre!!!..il mio piccolo laboratorio nel verde!!^^
Ancora non del tutto arredato, sta pian piano prendendo forma e non mi sembra proprio vero!!!
ho sempre pensato di "mettermi in proprio" e questa volta ci sono riuscita!!!
Il laboratorio che si trova in una zona molto verde di Firenze si nasconde tra qualche albero, siepi di ortensie e rosai rampicanti, tra i profumi della natura!
e allora quale posto potrebbe essere migliore per creare fiori di seta?!?!?!
Perché l'attività di "OnYourHead" è stata integrata abbondantemente con questa nuova produzione!!!Il tutto è nato qualche mese fa quando sono riuscita a mettere le mani su strumenti ormai quasi introvabili che vengono usati sin dalla fine dell'800 per creare fiori e foglie di vari tessuti!!questi strumenti di vari tipi svolgono diverse funzioni, si può dare svariate forme ad un petalo, tagliare foglie e fiori di ogni forma e pressarle fino ad imprimerci le venature che si trovano normalmente in natura!

Presto posterò qualche foto..per ora soltanto una veduta dal portoncino..

Here I am with great news!!!...a new lab into a lovely garden for creating hats and silk flowers!!!Not yet completely furnished it will be ready very soon!^^I’ve always dreamed to be in a lab space with my very own activity and now I have this great possibility!In a garden full of trees, roses and hydrangeas with a beautiful smell of nature!Which place could be better for creating silk flowers??!?!Yes, this is another good news !The “OnYourHead” activity will be increased with this new works!Some months ago I was so lucky to findnd a lot of making flower tools (used since the end of XIX century)..there’re a lot typologies of these irons, for cutting, for forming and for pressing leaves, petals ecc.

I’ll post some pictures very soon…for now a view form my little door..

Roses garden headband

A rose with a bud hand-dyed and hand-formed; the color is pale pink with dark pink nuances, some green leaves complete this metal headband covered with brown floral tape!

my latest creation!!! a silk rose with two buds hand-dyed and hand-formed the color is pale yellow with orange nuances some vintage velvet leaves complete this comb!
la mia ultima creazione!!! una rosa di seta con due piccoli bocci composti e colorati a mano il tessuto giallo chiaro è sfumato di arancione alcune foglie di velluto d'epoca completano il pettinino!

The hat veil comes from a vintage millinery
You can fix it on your head with a comfortable white elastic and a little metal comb under your hair!
